The chapel is where the ceremony will take place and the lodge is where the reception will take place.The map also highlights the cabins (1-11), the bathrooms, parking, and the fire pits. The large sports field doubles as extra parking.There are also some short and easy trails if you decide to go for a stroll!

Our Wedding

The Venue is located at Camp Maskepetoon (2037 Township 474) in Alberta and is situated on Pigeon Lake. This is about an hour long drive from Edmonton and about 3 hours from Calgary.We do not expect that everyone will want to stay on site in the cabins, so here are some alternative locations:Sundance Beach: A few minutes away from the camp with few hotels.Mulhurst: About 10 minutes south of the camp, with few hotels.Thorsby: About 20 minutes north of the camp with few hotels.Airbnb’s: Many in the towns listed, as well as surrounding pigeon lake.Do not drink and drive. Please have transportation arranged prior to coming down for the weekend.

Venue Location

Please answer the question in our RSVP regarding how many nights you plan on staying. There are 11 cabins in total with 7-8 bunk beds with mattresses. You will need to provide your own bedsheets/blankets/sleeping bags, as well as your own pillows. The current plan is to allow our guests to organize themselves within these cabins on a first come first serve basis.There are no bathrooms in each cabin, they are separate and spread out across the grounds.The cabins are heated and have electricity.If you have any concerns or questions regarding your stay in the cabins, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can do our best to accommodate.

Cabin Stay Information 

Please wear something nice but comfortable for the wedding ceremony/reception as we will be inside and outside throughout the day. If you know anything about Alberta weather, you’ll likely want to have a layer to take on and off!Friday evening and Sunday morning you may wear whatever you’d like as it will be very casual.
